Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has just announced that its popular Yu-Gi-Oh! GX series is returning to PSP, with Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 3 set for release this fall.
Tag Force 3 comes with new characters, evolving scenarios and a whopping 3,500 cards (taken from the most recent Trading Card Game packs) to be collected and used.
Set in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX TV series universe, Tag Force 3 utilizes characters from the third and fourth series of the show, with players charged with assembling the ultimate card deck by defeating their peers in thrilling duels.
The dueling interface of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 3 has been improved to make games simpler, faster and easier to manage.
The game’s 3500 cards are sampled from the most recent Trading Card Game packs, including ‘The Duelist Genesis’ set, and offer a wide range of traps, monsters and spells for the player to amass.
PSP gamers will also be able to use the PSP’s Wi-Fi connection to download additional content, including new cards and decks.
Every aspect of this new PSP game has been enhanced since the previous installment, with all-new AI routines adapting to the way the game flows, while the social aspect of the Trading Card Game is showcased as up to four players duel together via the PSP Ad-hoc LAN mode.
A new Gallery feature is also introduced, and provides a visual record of defeated monsters and key events.
‘Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 3′ PSP Game is based on the popular TV series, in case you didn’t know that already, and will be released across Europe in November 2008.
